Getting married next week need to get hold of four certain songs, ideally I want to burn these to a cd to hand over to the ceremony people

Where can I simply download these from legally which will then allow windows media player to convert them to cd

Is it all iTunes or is there alternatives

Please help as I'm in the dog house for leaving my only job to the last minute

Next thread coming up - speeches!

If you really want to use Windows Media Player to burn a CD, Amazon will sell you the mp3s in the correct format.

You can just as easily burn a CD using iTunes, using music you've downloaded from the iTunes Store, although the format you'll download the tracks in is likely to be .aac so this won't be Windows Media Player compatible.

You are a star

Never downloaded mp3 before hadn't thought of Amazon

Didn't cross my mind about iTunes not playing ball with formats

I need to use my work computer you see and I can't really install iTunes

Thanks again

Use www.youtube-mp3.org

Downloaded hundreds of songs from there.

Then use Audacity (free) to normalise (equalize volumes), fade in and out the mp3s if necessary.

If you really want you can buy them via iTunes - they will be AAC but there's s function on iTunes to download them in MP3 once they're in your account.
