Apple TV and youtube

Have I dreamt it, but I thought I used to be able to play youtube videos straight to my Apple TV with a little button like below?



But now it doesn't show anymore? I know I can airplay it but it's annoying me that I thought it used to be there?

Anyone else recall this and not see it anymore?

You might need to re-pair your YouTube apps.

Is that not a Chromecast icon? If there isn't a Chromecast on your network, I think the icon disappears?

Cheers, I logged out of the apple tv youtube and when I logged back in I got an 'Activate' code which I then went onto the macbook air and completed the activation and it said it was activated but still no button on the youtube.com site

I've signed out of there too but still not there..........head scratching

Turns out they don't do it.....maybe I did dream it. 'Send to TV' is what it's called and it only works with TVs and Playstations etc.

Assume its an atv2? Basically YT stopped supporting the older versions. Yes it used to work and show an app but now it doesn't! Think this built in obselesence is shameful.
