I Tunes ....SCAM ?

Just asking for advice please.
Today I got an email on my IPad supposedly from ITunes thanking me for buying a product for £28.99 and checking if the purchase was mine. If not it provided a link for me to verify or not etc.
I reckon it's a scam ....so I have not clicked on the link, as I have not made a purchase.
Anyone here had a similar experience?

Have you checked your bank account just to make sure your account hasn't been hacked.

Then change your password anyway.
