I see the 'deleting artwork' bug is still present from ios8.

Artwork is shown in itunes and on the dekstop.

But copy that track onto my ipod and it's deleted.

Another bug in ios9 is when playing music on random and say, it's the 50th track, then you delete it, ios9 doesn't continue onto the 51st track...it goes back to the first!!

Ios 9 really is a turd, just like 8 before it and 7 before that, etc etc.
Other manufacturers are available.

As far as i can tell, it doest seem to have fixed anything?

I have however now got an alarm problem, whereby the "tap to snooze" function doesn't work.

Apple seem to fking more things up with each new OS release.
Have you tried turning the device off an on?

It is possible to have 9.1 if they are in the beta programme.

Talk about first world problems!
Maybe but it's bad form to dump stuff onto people's devices without asking and with no means of removing them if they're neither wanted or needed.
That's root-kit type behaviour.

I have dumped them into a folder with 18 other apps I have never installed or used, as there's no way to delete them.
They're just sitting on my ipod taking up space, space that could be better utilised for other things, like another dozen or so albums.

And just to underline how crappy Apple are, they can't even get the nomenclature right. The app is called 'Find iphone'? I don't have an iphone, I have an ipod! And I'll never lose it, as it has a rather hefty Fiio headphone amp strapped to the back of it!
You can always buy another device.

However I think you find most software developers install bloatware. In a recent test Apple actually come out best for useable space. So again go and buy another device and then you'd realise you have more space than you realised.

So you keep saying.
Well it seems you have a lot of dislike for your apple device that maybe it's just not for you?

Where have I ever stated that I have a lot of dislike for my apple device? And what business is it of yours anyway?

Android devices are very good these days mp3manager, is there any particular reason for sticking with iPhone? As ecsrobin has pointed out, you don't seem overly happy with iOS.
I'm sure they are. I do not have an iphone.
Well seeing that we are on a public forum and all you have been is very negative about the software certainly gives off the impression that you don't actually like the device. So if that's not the case you may need to re adjust your wording. Is it my business, no however again a public forum where generally people mention something and then want a response, and generally that response they would like is advice, I assumed you were after advice but I guess you just wanted to rant and actually I've wasted my time, but I'm guessing it's not my business to know if that's correct or not.

Your response to Alex is a bit uncalled for rather than being blunt you could have said "I don't have an iPhone I have an iPod, I've stuck with it because bla bla bla" no need to be rude we were all just trying to help.

He's a new one, iTunes. My music has disappeared, it still shows but it's mostly in the cloud.
So I thought I'd sync on the PC.
Here's the problem, my PC is running XP, when I go to sync I get the message to update iTunes
as that version won't run with iOS 9.02.
But the latest iTunes won't install on XP!
Snookered.
Any particular reason for being on XP?

Ah yes I didn't spot that, although XP has not been supported in a long time so is very insecure.
