I have just spent 3 hours battling with Apple music on my daughters handset (iphone 4 hand-me-down). A simple attempt to add 3 new albums (from ripped cds) has been so frustrating that I will never buy an Apple device for any family member, if they want one, then they can do their own fking IT support.

Why are compilation albums in a separate section to normal albums?
Why are some 'various artists' under normal albums, and others under compilation? (*1)
Where has the Apple design ethic of 'keep it simple' gone? i.e. every screen now looks like it was designed by a 5 year old, with options scattered to the 4 winds!
Why, even when I've renamed the albums in iTunes (dont get me started on that abortion of a piece of software), does the phone ignore it and decide to 'correct it'? I'm sure that it's a setting somewhere, but I need to be in bed within the next 6 hours, so I havn't got time to hunt it down.

I know that it's my own fault for not drinking the Apple cool-aid, and wanting to retain some control over the device that I've paid for, perhaps it's just simpler if I pay Apple their £10/month tax for music, rather than attempt to use the Music that I've already paid for...

I'm done with Apple - only Android devices from here on in.

notes :
(*1) Holy Juddering fk - just found the little (could they make it any smaller) tick box in itunes that indicates if an album is a compilation or not. Now, by unticking that option it's scattered the contents of the 'compilation' across my itunes library - iTunes gives with one hand and takes with the other.
