I saw that and thought it looked good but then I saw this:

which looks amazing. There are a few similar spec phones for under £150
Do people think the THL 5000 be surpassed as the best budget phone?

Had mine since release.
Brilliant.
It'll easily get through a day on a charge, with some fairly heavy usage. Screen is indecently good, its fast enough for most apps I've thrown at it.
For £200 it would be reasonable value for money, but for £125 it makes everything else in the price range look like overpriced underspecced rubbish.

Lower res screen though; I've been surprised by the quality of the screen on the Ultra 6. Overall I think the Ultra 6 is definitely the better bet.http://www.gizchina.com/2015/05/23/ulefone-be-touc...

I've had mine a couple of days now after my other phone packed up. I am very pleased with it, especially as it was on offer at only £99 from Vodafone. Makes me wonder why I've always gone for top end models previously. Maybe budget phones have moved on significantly since I last looked.
I have just bought a Swift Ultra 6. I was looking at phones like the 1P2, wilex fox storm and moto x play but after seeing a colleagues swift ultra 6 I could not justify paying more for the alternatives.
The phone cost £115 via the Vodafone website, picked up from store an hour later. Unlock code via ebay cost £2 and came through in an hour.
The phone runs android 5.01, but it is rumoured to be getting 5.1 (no news on 6). It is very stock android, almost identical to my previous Nexus 4, which does help keep it feeling fast. Apart from a brief startup animation Vodafone have not added much bloatware and what is there can be easily removed. There are about half a dozen Vodafone apps, most of which can be uninstalled and the others can be disabled.
The screen is amazing, 5.5 1080p with really crisp colours and after a long session watching videos on it last night the battery had only gone down by a few percent (the large 3000mah battery helps here).
The only real downside is the cheap feeling plastic back cover, but as I keep my phones in a rubber case this makes no difference to me.
There is a lot of discussion on here about the 1P2, 1Px, wiley fox etc. but little mention of this phone which is a steal at just over £100.

Have also bought two of these. Originally one for my daughter and now one for my wife. First one cost £99, second one £115.
They both seem to really like them. Compared to the S4 she had previously my wife is more than happy.
Absolute bargain and would happily use one myself if my S4 ever dies.
Only issue I've had was Vodafone themselves. Walked into a store to buy one and it was £125. Fair enough as thats the standard price of them. Went to buy it and was told that I'd have to get a £10 credit with it as well. I told her it was for a contract phone and I didnt need the credit (didnt have to buy credit when I bought the last one online). She insisted I had to get it so I just walked out. Logged on at home and it was reduced to £115 - £20 cheaper than the High Street. Vodafone themselves say she was in the wrong.
Since that, I've been trying to get them to send out a nano-sim and the muppets have misled me 3 times so far - still no Sim delivered a week later.

I've had a smart ultra 6 for about 2 months now, it was on sale for £100 at the time.
Coming from a galaxy s4, I feel like it's about the same speed/spec as the s4, which is a good thing, I never had an issue with the s4, and using my Mrs note 4, I honestly can't tell them difference, neither can my Mrs.
Screen is very good,
No lagging,
It comes with afew Vodafone apps pre-insalled, but they can all be either uninstalled, or disabled.
It's pretty much stock Android,
The only criticism would be the camera, which I don't think is amazing.
Even putting the price aside, it's a great phone, bare the price in mind, it's a steal. You won't regret getting one.
