I was being pedantic, as no smartphone is on par with what dumbphones used to have in terms of battery life.

Oh and saying it's better than a 5s is like saying herpes is better than aids.

We get it. You're not an apple fan.

We're all very pleased for you, but how about you don't ram your views down the throat of everyone who says that they're happy with an iPhone?

It's boring and predictable dude.

Faster processor, Better camera, something Apple Music related i guess or something Apple Pay related.

I'd like to see dual sim card (Samsung has it), some sort of solar charging touch screen would be good to see too.

iOS9 - I wasn't impressed with the Keynote release of it, What are the main advantages?

My iPhone 6 has been faultless since Oct last year, battery is good and so is speed. Won't bother with the upgrade to 6s as I will wait for the 7.
Currently at Camp bestival on full 4g and download speed of 45mb!
As for charging I have a Ravpower pack, brilliant and does upto 6 charges .

I've spent more money and time on any of these tech products than most people can imagine.
But, if my opinion isn't in line with yours, if it's not exciting enough, I'm not allowed to express it?

Fair enough, the iPhone 6s is (not will be, IS!) the 8th comming of Christ and the iPhone 5s is the benchmark for battery life as we know it.

You can express anything you like.

You tubthump, time and again, about how iphone's are st. It's boring. Really boring, and really predictable.

It's nothing to do with your opinion differing from mine, in fact, you'll see that I have some fairly major gripes about iPhones myself.

If I see your name as a contributor in an Apple related thread, I know before reading your post, that it'll be the usual rhetoric from you.

You prefer android kit over apple kit. We get it. You don't need to wade into every apple related thread and tell us about it.

I defy anyone to look at your posting history and tell me I'm wrong.

I've just checked with EE to see when my contract is up and I'm looking at mid September. That can't be far off the 6S release so I'll hang on rather than upgrade early to the 6. Any more speculation on what's new over the 6?

I think the only "bad" thing I said about the iPhone in this thread is :
  1. be careful with updating an older device to the newest is. Which was more as advice out of experience than a jab
  2. saying a phone has better battery life than a 5s doesn't say much
I had no intention of offending anyone with my opinion, but the reference to certain STD s might have been a bit too crude .

With the Yuan devaluation, will the price not have increased or even decreased? smile

Eeerily quiet thread! Its due to be announced on the 9th

Things we will probably see,

New processor
Smaller battery frown
IOS9
Better Camera
Force Touch
Different case material (no more bendgate)
New Colour

Other than that, business as usual.

I will probably be getting one on release but only as my wife has just managed to destroy her 4s and i'm loathe to buy a new phone now just as the range is about to be changed.

not sure it's sufficient for me to upgrade from my current 6, but then that's why they use the 'S' smile

I'm due an upgrade for my 5s today, but my idea is to wait until the 6s/7 whatever they call it comes out, which hopefully will make the iPhone 6 prices drop overnight hehe

That's if I can resist the lures of the 'latest and greatest'. But am I fk paying over £50 a month for a phone!

I really don't get this obsession with thinness, a part from not having to pay more for a bigger (thus more expensive) battery.

FFs, make it 1 or 2mm thicker, you have room for a much bigger battery and better optics, plus it will be a lot more rigid!
