No screen protector on my 6 which is a year old. Not a single scratch so far is evident. Use the apple leather case though.

Are these glass screen covers really worth it? I picked up an apple leather case today which the quality is what you'd expect but I've seen some of these glass screen protectors that don't cover the whole screen.
yes but need to choose wisely. Tech Armor are the best, I've them on two phones, very thin and they match the screen features exactly with no messy cut-outs or gaps. Also works with tight and thin cases. They're actually slightly better than the screen surface because they're oleophobic so clean themselves off of fingerprints etc over time.

I'm now in possession on an iPhone 6 Plus and its a great upgrade from the 6 so I'm glad I saved £300 over the S.

With regards to glass screen protectors, the Anker glass one from Amazon (£5.99) is a fantastic bit of kit. It comes in a nice box with all the labels to line it up and get every bit of debris from the screen. Also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Hurrumph, falls foul of Amazon's new "spend £20 or pay for delivery" approach, you can't get free delivery under £20 unless you take Prime now, it seems.

How is everyone rating their purchases then? Has anyone gone from a 5 to the 6s+?

I gained a bit of cash today and was in Meadowhall this evening so went and checked out the 6s+. Looked great, but despite having the money in my pocket to get one there was something telling me I didn't need it. Maybe I'm just not a fruit nerd anymore!

Wife's got one on hers and it's nice. Smooth to touch and adds anti glare too. Will get one for mine.

Fingerprint unlock works so well! The phone is unlocked so fast I never see the lock screen anymore hehe
Indeed, that and Apple Pay are the best things about my iPhone (I have a 6)
It's quicker on the 6S. ApplePay on the Tube takes a second less on the 6S than the 6. When people are queuing behind you, that makes a difference.

I've just realised that none of my credit or debit cards work with the damn thing.

I'll be moving banks soon if Barclays and Tesco Bank don't get their @rses into gear!!

I got a 64gb 6s plus on Friday, it broke on Monday. It shut itself down and the home button got very hot. I waited about an hour for it to cool down and restarted it by holding the home and power button. It seemed fine but I took it back to Covent Garden the next day to exchange it. There was no quibble but it did take an hour for them get things sorted at their end before I could leave with the phone.

The new one shut itself down last night but didn't overheat.........

It works with my Halifax current account thankfully but not with my credit card and corporate card. I'm sure it will be a great feature when everyone's on board.

Same with my bank (despite their being in the initial publicity). I have my Amex registered, but that means I can only use ApplePay in places that accept Amex.

I started a thread about replacing my 5 with an android phone but went to a couple of shops yesterday to check them out and I don't think they're for me. Im now looking at a 6S +.
I'm already sorted for my sim, what is the best/cheapest way to get the 6S+ ? I won't buy it outright, on the Apple Store site you can do monthly payments at the checkout but I'm not sure about entering all my details if I decide not to buy it. Also doesn't seem to tell you what the payments will be until you go that far with the purchase.

Mrs 2cv wants a new phone and having costed it all out it looks like the 6 is no cheaper than the 6s in real terms. Maybe £50 over 2 years. That's looking at various deals, buying phone on eBay and getting SIM only, all sorts. Weird. I thought previously it always saved a fair bit to go with previous version. Maybe values will drop in a few weeks?! She wants a rose gold one anyway so i think her mind is made up.

Cheapest way is to buy it in full. Surely an payment plan is gonna incure some level of interest?
