Event was great. Phone went down well, lots of goodies handed out, everyone was good natured and enjoyed it. Sadly not everyone was able to get in, but they were given plenty of advance notice, plus the team spent some time with them (in the queue), playing with the new phones and accessories, etc.

im trying to get further up the invite list currently sat at 10200 ish started at 250000 on the 28th i think if i get in the top 10k i may get an invite relatively soon

I'm a little annoyed that it seems people who bought the first phone aren't getting invites first.

as far as im aware they are getting preferential treatment. i havent had a phone for 9 years ish so im coming in cold

yeah you could but most of mine are people that are genuinely interested in getting one i think. plan is get me up list so i get one then get some invites to give out then give out down the list basically pyramid scheme

Awesome. Did they have one there with the Rosewood back? I really, really like the idea of a wooden casing and I'm wondering if the combination of wood, metal and glass feels as nice as I think it would.

The rosewood back is quite nice, but I've got a kevlar one sat here waiting for when the phone comes

Although, to be honest, I think it will be wasted, as I'll have a case on it (as I do on my OPO today). So you'd never see it!

Click on the link in the email the system sent you.

And scroll right down to the very end of the page.

I'm currently 103,076 / 1,658,047. But I already have an invite, so not too fussed on where I am in the list

Has there been any word as to when the invites will start to be sent out to people on that list? I mean, are we talking weeks or months?

Thank you! I realise this morning that I could have Googled it myself, but I was very tired and that hadn't occurred to me! Thanks for humouring me and answering anyway

Looks like by that criteria I'm in with a reasonable shot at getting one fairly quickly, happy days. I'm impatient for a new phone.

Nothing wrong with waiting, though.. good excuse to buy a few other handsets in the mean time to try!

I like the idea of the Kevlar but I'm the same as you, my Oneplus One is in a rubber case and has been from day one. Great news that you've secured an invite. Look forward to getting mine at some stage and interested to see if early customers / forum members actually do get invites early.
