London pop-up shop details now live:
https://oneplus.net/x-popups

Bottom line, there's a pre-invited VIP session from 7-8pm, and then open sales from 8 onwards, until stock lasts.

See you there smile

Hatred withdrawn, Received an invite, Surprising as i only received registered for an invite a couple days ago.

My OP2 arrived this morning. I was expecting a very long wait.

All seems okay so far. The fingerprint sensor works very well. The metal frame is a decent improvement over the OPO.

Bah, is that how long they are expected to be? Just ordered one but I could really do with it showing up in the next 2 weeks

I ordered my OPX on 5th November. It said it would be a dispatched in 5-10 working days and then delivery time ontop. On Saturday I received a text from DHL with a tracking number. It's not been updated since it was dispatched from China on Saturday but from previous OPO and OP2 purchases I'd expect it to be delivered early this week so will let you know.

Kinky, how's it compare to the OPO and OP2. Guessing you must be fairly impressed if your selling the other two models?

Ordered my OPX on the 5th, and it arrived this morning. Currently on charge, with the silicone case on it. Next job, to cut down my existing sim.

You buggers. I ordered on the 5th too and no sign of a tracking number.

Edit: 20 minutes after I post that, mine arrives.

Love it so far - very impressed. Still installing my apps and what-not..

I did't know I wanted a new phone until just now. My word their website is lovely and the whole "marketing" thing is just making me want one!

Well mine was delivered this afternoon so popped into town and changed my sim to a nano sim and picked up a 64GB micro sd card. Got home and turned it on. After a quick mess around I miss several features from my OnePlus One so now my X and sd card are up for sale. Will be interesting to see what interest it gets from a well known selling website!

I got a text message stating delivery would be today... imagine my excitement upon seeing a package when arriving home. Imagine then the disappointment when I opened it to find, as suggested by the package's weight, just the styleswap cover. Mercifully my tracking number still shows out for delivery, so there's time yet.

AlexFR - surprised you aren't giving it more than a few hours! [Does anyone have any patience these days?] Is there nothing you like about it/prefer over and above what you feel you've lost (and can those things be added, now or later)?

It's by no means a bad phone. I was debating upgrading my OPO anyway as have been so pleased with it. My main issue with the X is the non backlit buttons, infact you barely see them in daylight. I, along with others, also prefer Cyanogen than oxygen with the customisable LED built in etc. I could add a third party app on the X but no need on the One. I also like to have 5GHz wifi on my OPO since I have 200meg internet at home.

Tough one smile

If they had CM on the X then it would be job done yes

But, overall, I love the X. Sure, it's not perfect, but for a sub-£200 price tag, you simply can't complain.

I currently have a 1 and a 2 gathering dust. The 1 is no use, as I cut down my sim card to fit the 2. And choosing between the 2 and the X is a no-brainer. X all the way biggrin

Anyone have an invite code for an X that they would care to share?

Thanks!

No but you can buy my X as I can't deal with the camera. frown
The phone is gorgeous, and runs well - but the blurry photos are a dealbreaker for me as I use it all the time.

Oh, I was hoping the camera was going to be good. Probably the main reason I was looking to get a new phone.

Its a weird one. I think the hardware is good, but the software is so laggy that I can never get a clear photo of my daughter.

I took this with it of my car, and it's fine, but people or things which move seem bad.

That said, I run an iPhone 6 at the moment which is pretty awesome and not a fair comparison.
