It's like turning up at an airport to buy a ticket for a flight, except you know it's already fully booked. You're hoping on a cancellation.
Just book the soonest appointment you can and put up with it until then.
If the noise is as obvious as you say, I'd be surprised if you weren't walking out with a brand new phone in less than 30 minutes after your appointment starts. I've had ones where I'm out the door in less than 10.

I want a shop.
I also want a shop I can use before 7th August, and want to use the shop nearest me, not the 3rd nearest one, which is a 90 minute drive away.
Just book the closest one to you, the phone is still functioning right? Otherwise, yeah, just turn up and ask, be prepared to wait and they'll probably fit you in.

Except I bet if you read the small print it says otherwise. If it was breaking the law I'm sure some Samsung fan would have taken them to court by now.
Probably not - it seems most people don't know the legal position and believe what retailers tell them. http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/problem/my-...ecsrobin said:

I'm pretty sure on my contract it states that device issues are with Apple. I'll try and dig it out. Either way who would you want solving your problem a 3rd party or the manufacturers own staff? I bet the problem will be solved quicker by Apple than say Vodafone if they choose to deal with the issue at all. SOGA is relevant and gives the retailers responsibilities.

I'm 100% sure that your contract, or anyone else's, doesn't affect the SOGA.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
