Anybody got a TV in their conservatory? Do they survive in the heat of summer and cold of winter? Would like to do up ours to be a more usable room and install a TV, but don't want to be replacing it every 6 months.

Got a 26" Sony in my Dads - but he has blinds in his conservatory which is south facing. By late afternoon, the sun is past the yardarm and viewing is easier. Useless in the morning though - when the sun shines! (Which in Scotland is usually on 3rd April, 15th May, 22nd June and 5th August!)

Worth a try then, it's alright out there when in use with either doors open or ac on, my concern was during the day when it's all shut up.

Off topic but who cares
Years back I had a Philips G8 and lived in a caravan.
I'd get back from work and switch on the heating
Zap kapow twang zap crack zap etc............... the sound of the tripler arcing or shorting whatever.
Mates would think that Philips was going to blow at any second.

I am surprised at the number of people running old CRTs in conservatories.

A little more expensive, but these should handle the temperatures, humidity and condensation: http://www.aqualiteoutdoor.com/
