Chromebook Wifi Problem
Discussion
Mrs W's Toshiba Chromebook has suddenly started to cause problems with our wifi connection.
It connects no problem but when other devices are also connected nothing happens, ie they are connected to the router but sites timeout prior to anything happening.
There is clearly a conflict of some sort but I'm not sure where to look.
Any input much appreciated.

Knocking it off by using the same IP perhaps?
Have you tried assigning specific IP address by the device's MAC - example - http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/assi...
But if you know your router there is likely to be a specific guide.

Sites timing out sounds like a DNS issue.
Does the Chromebook override the router's offerings ?
Is it using valid DNS server addresses ?
Is the router passing the DNS requests through ?
P.S. - are you saying the Chromebook has a problem or that it seems to be causing a problem for other devices ?
