Anybody know how I can use my Bluetooth (streaming music) and Wi-Fi at the same time using my laptop? I can get it to work for a while but then one or the other loses connection after a few minutes. Disabling one allows the other to work flawlessly. Really frustrating!

Both are Realtek adapters with up to date drivers.

Could be a driver problem, but I suspect it is a problem with the Realtek hw. I think the Realtek hw will likely be a combo chip and could well be using a shared antenna at 2.4ghz.

I think the easiest and cheapest solution would probably be to get a Bluetooth dongle and use that instead for the audio streaming.

^ what he said...
A friend and I tried tirelessly to get his phone to stream music over wifi to his bluetooth speaker but it kept breaking up or dropping one connection. Investigation showed that, that particular handset had a shared chip for both so it simply couldn't use them both like that. Seems a bit short sighted, but I suppose it saves them and us ££
