I've just gone for a cheap gel case like I had on my HTC One M8 GPE, cost like £3.

Any cheaper deals for SIM free 64Gb or 128Gb 6Ps out there? Quite fancy one if I can find one that isn't priced north of £450.

I ordered mine from the US Play store -- a friend let me use their address and US credit card. End result was a 32GB for US$513, or roughly GB£340.

Admittedly not an option open to most but they are a helluva lot cheaper in the states.

yes
Very dependant by state though, regarding VAT? I visit Oregon from time to time -> no VAT smile. Apple gear is actually cheap then. Probably picking up a Moto X there in a couple of months.

Are you sure a US model supports UK LTE bands?

It's odd, I was literally thinking that as I read it. ISTR that there are differences between the US/UK bands and I couldn't remember if the US model has them all?

I'm actually in S.Korea for another while with work and it's fine here. I'll find out over the Christmas holidays on how it is at home I suppose, so can report back then. Doesn't make a difference for me though, I've been away with work for over two years now so coverage back home for one week of the year isn't much of a priority!

Still haven't bought one - keep meaning to and then get busy with other things.

Worth it?

I snashed the screen on my N5 last week and was so close to buying the 64gb, but I still couldn't justify the price, so bought a Sony Z Ultra instead. It'll do me until the 820SoC devices are released.

Ironically I smashed the screen on my Z Ultra the other week. One of my favourite phones. Where'd you buy it from? I'm finding it tricking tracking one down.

It's actually on its way from China. I purchased it from Ali Express. I'm hoping the version being sent is the C6833 as that's the one with LTE.

It's a phone I've contemplated for a long while and even had a thread on here about so now's the time while they're cheap and may even be updated to Marshmallow. I payed £106.

106. That's incredible. I paid 213 and thought that was a good deal. You'll love it.

Love mine (coming from the N5). My N5 invariably ran out of battery by around 9pm - don't think I've seen the 6P go below 25% (even after having 'a few beverages' and staggering into the house at 5am - so nearly 24h off the charger).

As an overall package it's the best phone I've ever owned. Also, I'm not sure I could go back to a phone without a fingerprint sensor now - it really does make things much quicker / easier.

Couple of months in and really impressed with the battery life:

Granted that's with light / medium use, but 2.5 days isn't bad...

Yup, between battery life and fast charge I never really feel like it's going to run out (OK I've only had it a few days, but still).

Battery life is excellent on my 6P. Not sure if this is down to the handset or Marshmallow (probably a bit of both).

Well I can happily report that my US handset does indeed work with 4G/LTE on UK/European networks after having it in three EU countries over the Christmas period.

Mine is 128GB, ordered direct from Google Store.
