2) CG sizing is quite unusual, so unless you've tried on a (genuine) version of a particular model and found the right size, I'd put money on you getting it wrong. I have a Chilliwack in large and an Expedition in small and they're both a perfect fit.
I've not noticed this, both mine are large (Expedition and Bracebridge)

I also saw some chiliwack for sale in Costco for £395 which is a great saving but they only had the womens unfortunately. Still, shall keep my eyes peeled!
They have these (mens) in Costco up here. Again about £400.

It was also shown on TV this morning that most deals are cheaper in the January sales! Wait a month and save more....
So your telling me the prices of goods reduce as time goes by? I'm shocked. Why not wait 12 months and save even more?

Seriously though, if your kid wants a PS4 for Christmas, what good does buying it in January do?
Do your kids need a PS4 for Christmas? If so then of course you won't wait until January. My point, which you obviously missed, was that most people say "oh my god a black Friday deal, it must be cheap" when at other points of the year, January Sales included, it is probably cheaper. It is all marketing hype to get the gullible to part with cash. If you need something then buy it for the cheapest price when you need it. As for waiting for 12 months to buy something then clearly you don't need it!

The deals on some popular products on Amazon are far cheaper than they are throughout the rest of the year (I can't speak for other shops as I rarely use any one else).

Of course some items may be cheaper at other times (and some idiots will be suckered in to buying them) - but anyone with half a brain can see when a product is genuinely discounted smile

So yes, I agree it is designed as 'marketing hype' - but I disagree with those who stay away and refuse to shop at all out of principle because if you are smart you can get some fantastic offers on products you would be buying anyway IMO.

I've bought guitar hero with £25 off and also £100 of some turtle beach 800x elite wireless headphones.

Pretty happy with that.

You are naughty! Brit Gas engineer was just here servicing the boiler and touted me a deal for £200. Well at £120 it would have been rude not to DIY!

10% off Canon lenses at Jessops via this link making them unusually cheaper than grey imports http://www.jessops.com/online.store/categories/Cur... plus £75 cashback and interest free credit (if required) on a lovely 16-35 L IS. Wanted it for 6 months - now was the time smile

Cynics don't understand - many of these deals don't happen at other times and the real deals can be sussed from the fake! Its not about ugly grabby materialisic consumerisim - its biding your time to get something you need but have the patience to wait for a good deal for!

Ohh and my house is really clean thanks to teh Neato that is already scuttling about and intriguing the dog smile Thanks for all the tips here guys.

I bought one of these last night :-

Lenovo S21 laptop / netbook for £129.99. Still showing as £176 on Amazon.

VERY light, good size, sharp screen. Has a Micro SD port, so i've stuck a card in that for storage.

I travel a fair bit so the light and compactness is paramount

I think its dual core mate as I bought one of these for the daughter for Xmas and its the same N2840 processor. Still a cracking buy if it doesn't have to be pink!

Bought 20kg of plate weights for £25. Normally they are over £30 everywhere.

Fing is, I'm tempted to buy another set.

Are you allowed to install these yourself then?

Its a very straightforward job for people competent and safe enough. Its just 3 wires plus fused power for the relay unit.

edit - that's my Worcester Bosch High Flow 400 circuit diagram by the way.

Picked up a 55" 4k TV from John Lewis website, £800 for a Samsung with 5 year JL guarantee and £50 Netflix credit, would have been rude not to! Should put the 5 year old 40" LCD to shame.

Yeah i've no issues with it at all very pleased. Using it now actually.

One thing i would say is, if its running Win8 out of the box, and its offering to update to Win10, do that BEFORE you install anything else, as it requires 10.7GB to be free to do its swapping. I'd installed Office365 and had 5GB of Cloud files on it and have had to do a fair bit of shuffling now.

Great machine though. Argos are doing a 64GB micro SSD card for £29.99 if you dont otherwise have one lying about - although 32GB is probably useful enough @ maybe £15.

A few options I have used...

1) Cancel the order and reorder if it's not been posted.
2) Go on the online chat and ask them nicely - normally they will refund the difference.
3) Order again and return the original one (or refuse delivery of it to save postage).
I've found that either 2 or ring them works best - i've done it a couple of times
Did 2 this afternoon and was refunded the difference beer

Bought an M&S sofa for 40% off - regularly was 20% off anyway, but that'll do me.

Stack of wine from Waitrose for 15% off.
