PC World have a 2TB Seagate at £63, so that is my current yardstick.
It's going to be £55.99 .... showing now for Prime Members, open to everyone at 10:10 ........ it's selling fast though

I'll be looking for a Canada Goose jacket online as I'm going to Copenhagen soon and seeing as It was well below freezing lasy year when I went, I think I'll treat myself this time round. I just can't justify paying full whack for such an expensive jacket that will get limited use.
I would thoroughly recommend not buy one online for two reasons:

1) Probably fake. Check the CG site for authorised retailers. There's a huge amount of fakes out there and they're all stuffed with horse hair, pubes and used AIDSy bandages.

2) CG sizing is quite unusual, so unless you've tried on a (genuine) version of a particular model and found the right size, I'd put money on you getting it wrong. I have a Chilliwack in large and an Expedition in small and they're both a perfect fit.

And don't bother with Expedition, Snow Mantra, Resolute or any of that ilk unless you're spending a lot of time idling in temps of -10°c or [a lot] less.

This probably isn't the right forum for it but thought I'd stick my 2p in smile

Yep, couldn't get to look at it until just now. 100% of stock claimed, so on the "wish list", however that works. Never mind, will keep on looking.

Thanks, I'll be keeping my eye on any and every retailer!
Might've changed my mind for a Panasonic, we'll see what's about tomorrow.

Thanks Oakey! Cancelled and re-ordered - glad I chose the no rush delivery even though I have Prime. I love Amazon and owe you a pint!

Thanks for the recommendations thumbup Like you say I've seen a few dodgy looking sellers online so am only really looking to get through reputable high street sellers.

I've actually tried on a couple in Harvey Nichols and the chilliwack bomber seems to be the right one for me. It was like wearing a sleeping bag. In fact that's what made me think 'I must have one of these'.

I also saw some chiliwack for sale in Costco for £395 which is a great saving but they only had the womens unfortunately. Still, shall keep my eyes peeled!

A 980ti graphics card (or two). Not sure where would have the best deals involving need to get on them quick if there is any real discount. Plus need to get water cooling block(s) for it/them.

Any suggestions where to monitor for them appearing cheap on Friday?
Overclockers have some decent discount on the Zotac range if that is any good for you.
Looking for evga really.

Smart Thermostat, preferably a Hive 2 although if the Nest is reduced (there's a new model out, however the previous version would be fine) I might be tempted by that.
I have heard that the Nest should be on for a pretty decent black Friday deal.

I will post it up if I find it!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hive-Active-Heating-Water-...

Both Nest and Hive are around £150, cheapest they've been yet. Leaning towards a Hive 2 at the moment...

Interesting diversification of views on this thread.

For me, there is absolutely no fking way I'm even considering battling my way through crowds in a shop to get a discount. Especially on a sodding polaroid tv!

However, I am in the market for a new TV. I've done my research and got a shortlist of potentials which I would have done anyway. When I have 5 minutes on friday I will check to see if I can source it online any more competitively than the outlets I've already found. If I can, I'll order it. If not, it will wait till another time.

No hassle, no stress, but 5-10 mins checking to see if I can save some money is no skin off my nose.
Exactly my Friday TV buying for tomorrow. What's on your shortlist?

You cancelled to save £5? biggrin

Someone tell me about that Nest and Hive thing, it only lets you turn heating on and off, right?

Unlike Evohome where you change the heads (?) on the radiators and it can control each room?

Sadly I'm limited by the existing furniture in the lounge, so has to be smaller than 50".

Looking at:
Samsung UE48JU6740 48" UHD Curved
Samsung UE48H6400 48" Flat (but no UHD is a big downer)
Samsung UE48JU6445 48" UHD Flat
Panasonic TX-48CX400 48" UHD 3D

How about you?
