Exactly my Friday TV buying for tomorrow. What's on your shortlist?
Sadly I'm limited by the existing furniture in the lounge, so has to be smaller than 50".

Looking at:
Samsung UE48JU6740 48" UHD Curved
Samsung UE48H6400 48" Flat (but no UHD is a big downer)
Samsung UE48JU6445 48" UHD Flat
Panasonic TX-48CX400 48" UHD 3D

How about you?
I've been umming over curved or not and sizes, like you I'm slightly limited on space.

I liked the 'SONY BRAVIA KD49X8309CBU Smart Ultra HD 4k 49" LED TV' in Currys the other day.

I also really liked the 'PANASONIC VIERA TX-55CR730B Smart Ultra HD 4k 55" Curved LED TV' both have a nice spec and good owner reviews so I'll see what my wallet fancies hehe

You cancelled to save £5? biggrin?
I did LOL - but it only took one minute which makes my labour rate £300 an hour!

I also got that Netto robot vac for the dog for Xmas. Hours of fun for him as it vacuums up his hair. £150 at Appliances Direct with a Which free trial - the camel says it was £300 back in April on Amazon.

With all this tightarse money I save I can fuel the car's 16mpg. Yin/Yang smile

Was about to pull the trigger on an Xbox One and 3 games for £330 on Game, had it in the basket and all... Then I realised it's still £330, I need to grow up, and I would either A) play it too much or B) never play it at all.

It's just designed to give you this rush that you're getting a deal so you *must* buy it.

I love the idea of posting how much you hate black friday "on principle" on a thread about Black Friday deals...

Makes you sound like the type of person that stamps on a kid's sandcastle.

Bugger all. It's tedious marketing hype over nothing.
Nothing at all. Leaflet dropped through our door claiming massive Black Friday reductions on something I'd bought earlier in the year. To the penny it was the same price.

On the subject of an American thing that should have stayed there, even the BBC were banging on about who was having a big turkey dinner yesterday. Idiots.

Son wants a PS4 & FIFA 16 (crucially Gareth Bale is in it...) and as I've said NO, go climb a tree instead 100 times I now just need to get a good deal! May try that camel camel tip smile
PS4 with Star Wars and Fifa 16 £268.99 on Amazon now
There are some very good console deals.

It amuses me people complaining about Black Friday saying they won't buy anything...what better time to buy than when many items are reduced to be loss leaders?

Sure, some stuff on Amazon is tat - but there are some really good deals to be had.

A 980ti graphics card (or two). Not sure where would have the best deals involving need to get on them quick if there is any real discount. Plus need to get water cooling block(s) for it/them.

Any suggestions where to monitor for them appearing cheap on Friday?
Overclockers have some decent discount on the Zotac range if that is any good for you.
Looking for evga really.
And **** bought (though its not shipped so I'll cancel it) a 980ti FTW with £100 off and a watercooling block. Its the only ruddy evga 980ti card that isn't waterblock compatible grrrrrr
