I cannot wait for the day that Virgin Media cable my street. I spoke with a Virgin rep outside Tesco one day who was trying to sell Virgin Media to me. I said I'd have it tomorrow if they could cable my street but he did some research on his system and it showed that my road is private and is under contract with a different supplier. It's not private, just a normal road and all we can get is stuff on BT like BT, Sky, Talk Talk etc... No Virgin Media.

Still no answers as to why this is so just waiting for it to become available.

Depends where you are you might be served by a wireless isp, a few of my customers use telcom.io and get fantastic speeds with very little downtime.

We can't even get that, my line goes directly into the exchange rather than a cabinet and apparently this causes problems for installing fibre.

EO line or something. st.

Plusnet fibre for me on a business connection, use my own router and never had any issues. Consistently get 70/80 down and 20 up. Would recommend not only for these reasons but also for the UK call centers.

Vodafone
Yes. I posted a positive review back in May and nothing has changed.

Been with Sky for 5 years now, wasn't the best connection with the old Sagem Router they bundled in, but has been much better since upgrading that. Would love to tell you what their customer service is like, however I don't actually recall ever using it - connection has been rock solid since it was installed.

Only used to get 4 - 6mb due to Stafford's insistence that the town centre didn't need Fibre, now that's been installed I get a rock solid 40 down 10 up. the Sky Hub isn't the biggest fan of our 3 storey house, with a few dead areas downstairs, but otherwise no complaints.
