It would appear that there's people reporting the S7 Edge catching fire like the note has. Doesn't sound good for Samsung.

Had it on mine for few weeks - no noticeable changes to battery life. No noticeable improvements to anything either...
Same, on that version on S7 and S7 edge here and no discernable differences

G935FXXU1BPJG (I think the 935 part is just the dual sim variant of the same) for a few days here too. It initially took a while for my apps that where on SD card to settle down but it's been fine since. No issues with battery life that I've noticed.

I'm pretty sure it's just the monthly security patch.

-Bump-

I've been notified Android Nougat has been rolled out for the S7 and S7 Edge. Anyone installed it yet or been in beta testing? Any good?

I've had the beta since the testing started and it is great. Better battery life and the UI seems nicer with slightly less touchwiz bits. Still very responsive.

Nothing on mine yet.
Not sure when I'd get mine as the phone was bought sim free and is running on the BT network.
