Just noticed it's out of stock on the link I bought from.

Also no update for me on my vanilla dual sim s7 edge. I wonder if they'll be later with patching this model because of that.
Mind saying where you got your Dual-SIM S7 Edge from?

Hoping the prices on the S7 range will start drop a bit once the S8 gets formally announced.

I bought it from ebay from a seller registered in Ireland, although they turn out to be a Chinese co and it was shipped from Manchester (Salford) so although I had no issues with the transaction I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend them. They're listing them now at a higher price of £520, I presume due to the exchange rate, I paid £466 last August and only chose the seller as they would ship to France where I was at the time. If you search for g935fd or S7 Duos you will find plenty of people selling them.

Since upgrading from the S6 edge to the S7 edge I have been getting non stop spam emails coming through. I have blocked a boatload yet they're still coming!
Any way to up the spam filter on the phone or any idea why they're bombarding me?

Is anyone getting a weird noise when you lock and unlock. I am on an S6.

It only started yesterday.

I have looked in the settings and cant find it. Sounds like someone dropping a stone down a well if that helps! (i.e not the usual "click" for lock and unlock)

New update came in yesterday, around 93mb! Installed it over night, only to wake up and find fking facebook installed on my phone & me unable to uninstall it - can only disable.

Unbranded phone, as was an insurance replacement, but I am really pissed off they have forced facebook down my throat.

Really? That's quite terrible tbh! Would put me off Samsung phones once again :/.

I had facebook and a number of other apps I didn't want installed on mine when I got it SIM free. the best you can do it disable them as they're in the base ROM frown I'd much sooner have a vanilla OS and the option to install the junk I want not what's being forced on me but this is the way it is.

Still no Nougat on my dual sim version. Have tried using a VPN to fake being in areas that have a dual SIM ROM but no joy and I can't find any reports of people getting OTA updates of it yet.

That won't work, its nothing to do with geolocation and everything to do with the software "branch" you are currently on. You'd have to use odin to flash onto another suitable branch which gets more frequent updates.
