In fairness to them they really helped me out when i called up, they offered me an exclusive deal and even put these details onto their 3 store webpage so i could read the details of the plan, of course so could the rest of the internet which would be annoying for them if they called up to join my exclusive plan but.....................

Oh wait no their just shysters who got caught out.

Micght try these out on a monthly contract http://www.idmobile.co.uk/shop/plans/sim-only
Uswitch and MSE have other deals on that network, which don't show by default on the ID website.
I currently pay £10 for 500 mins, 5000 sms and 4gb data smile
Currently paying £8.99 per month (after cashback) on EE for unlimited mins, unlimited texts and 4 GB on a SIM only deal. That's through mobilesphonesdirect.co.uk although I think I saw the deal initially on moneysupermarket.com. MPD.co.uk have the easiest and simplest cashback redemption thing I've ever used. Just upload PDF bill to their site every other month and the money is BACS'd straight into your account - not like mobiles.co.uk where you have to print off bills and actually send them in the post.
How long is the EE contract?
(The ID one is only 30 days)
Mine is a 12 month contract but it was also available on a rolling 1 monthly for a quid per month more.

Just looked on moneysupermarket for EE sim only and it's gone up a bit since, but I know from past experience you have to check back regularly as the offers are up and down like a yoyo. Current cheapest deal they do for unlimited mins/sms and 4GB is £14/month after redemption on a 1 year contract which is nothing to get excited about if I'm honest.

I thought this had gone quiet but received a letter from Three yesterday - they are moving me off the One plan - new one is unlimited everything and 30GB tethering for £16/month
Can't complain I guess given the prices quoted earlier in the year

My old plan is £15/mo for unlimited everything and 4GB of tethering, so I suppose I'm close enough that I'll be far down whatever list it is you end up on to be forced off the One plan.

That's good. I think I have comparable tethering but for £20 p/m.

My current contract runs out on 6th December, I currently pay £20 for Unlimited data, 30gb tethering, unlimited text and 200 mins.

Three don't seem to offer anything similar priced at the moment, I spoke to Customer Services and they said I can just stay on that till I receive a letter advising me its changing.

Was tempted to swith to EE for £25 which is 20gb data, 15gb EU roaming data, unlimited text and minutes.
