Gotta have that new shiny Apple product.
Ha, you clearly haven't seen the video! Meanwhile, back in the real world I've just updated my secondhand iPhone 4 to an equally secondhand iPhone 5 for the princely sum of £150, so I don't think I'm quite living the marketing man's dream..!
For anyone that hasn't seen it - tell me you could resist this!

For a couple of years I've been telling people that the next big development in mobile phone tech needs to be an expanding screen. Although I've no idea how you'd make it work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDgoPS91pUY

Can't help but think the next big thing in mobile phone tech needs to a battery that can last all day without needing to be charged or dropping enough in capacity that you're scared to use the phone for fear of running out.
iPhone 6s Plus lasts me all day and I am a seriously heavy user. SpudLink said:

Technology development is often 20 years so we're just over half way there to seeing it in our hands.

They could do it right now quite easily. The problem is that all the phone manufacturers have got it in to their heads that thinner = better.Teppic said:
