My 4s has been struggling so finally took the plunge and bought the SE today. Feels VERY similar to the 4s. Vodafone gave me a new Nano Sim so I've managed to set up the phone.
I'm struggling to copy across all my photos and email accounts so will be popping back to Apple on Monday and ask them to transfer everything over using one of their gadgets. I just need to get a case now.
I backed up to iCloud before putting the new SIM in the SE then set it up from iCloud, can't say it worked perfectly but it worked & I have everything (did have to set up an iCloud email address though). I tried to do that but the only thing that went to Icloud was my contacts. Like i said Im going to nip into the Apple Store on monday and hopefully they can sort it. Case and other bits'n'bobs (spare charger, screen protector) ordered via Amazon.Get a case ASAP, I left it a few days & sods law, I dropped it & now have a nice ding in the corner
Not sure what to do with the 4s now. I've been told it's worth only £50-£60 so I'm wondering whether to just keep it as a spare "Ipod"?

My Daughter is using mine as an iPod & for Facetiming her friends with iPhones as she has an Android. Not sure what to do with the 4s now. I've been told it's worth only £50-£60 so I'm wondering whether to just keep it as a spare "Ipod"?
Cracked the screen on mine & battery ilife is poor so it's worth bugger all anyway.
Just picked up a 64gb SE and so far I'm really impressed with it. Traded in a really tatty and worn out iPhone 5 16gb for £100 which I thought was very generous - had I sold it to one of the second hand high street places I'd be lucky to get half that amount given the scratches and chips on the phone.
First impressions of the SE? Well it's very responsive and the battery life is superb and it's the perfect size for a smartphone imo.

I have filled in the form on the apple website and it says my iphone 5 is worth nada, nichts, nothing, zero
What answers are you giving to the questions it asks on the online valuation page? The ones re condition, are the buttons working etc. Mine was a really worn out 5 16gb and I got £100 for it. Pop into a store and as long as everything works and there are no cracks on the phone you should receive the same offer.BlackLabel said:

I have both (I bought the SE last week) having owned the 6S from launch. I love the fact the SE is much easier to use than the 6S and doesn't have a camera lens that sticks out (and the battery life is much better than the 6S) but obviously the trade off is the screen which feels small. There isn't much in it in terms of price as my used 6s is not worth that much more than the new SE.

I bit the bullet on an SE a couple of months ago after my Xperia Z3C started to fall apart. Very happy with it so far. Can't say it's the most comfortable phone I've ever owned to hold in one hand thanks to the very rectangular design. Great phone though, battery lasts, decent enough camera, quick enough to load and use apps.
If you want a decent sized phone that is not on the bleeding edge technology wise, it's a no-brainer.

I've had one so a few months now, upgraded from an 5. I went for a 128GB it was only a few quid more than the standard 16GB. I love the phone, does everything I need, I'll be keeping it until it dies, will be a few years. I would like to see an updated version, with an edge to edge screen etc, but it needs to stay the same physical size, I can't get on with big phones.
I don't see the point of upgrading. Mine works fine for everything (other than as a phone ) - I use it mainly for emails/satnav/podcasts/music/watching TV. It's on Vodafone 4G and reception has been excellent.
The massively annoying thing is the quality of phone calls. I can receive them fine but the other person can't hear me clearly for some reason. I have to put it on speakerphone. I have no idea why but that's the only PITA.
