Oneplus 3 invites and chatter

Mine turned up Friday (OP3 + Go Big or Go Home bundle) and is going straight back. Tried to cancel it a week before they sent it and they just ignored my requests. Shady!
To be honest, if you know about OnePlus you will know that their manufacture and shipping process is very different to Amazon for example.Three weeks is okay from release day compared to waiting months for a code to even buy one.

Hi all, I've ordered this and fingers crossed it arrives soon.
I want to buy: (a) a very lightweight cover for it (as invisible as possible! and (b) a good scratch proof screen cover.
Can you guys recommend anything?
Cheers!
Just FYI my OP2 came with a screen protector already applied, not sure if the 3 does but I'd imagine so. I want to buy: (a) a very lightweight cover for it (as invisible as possible! and (b) a good scratch proof screen cover.
Can you guys recommend anything?
Cheers!

Why did you order one if you didn't want it?
I did want it when I ordered it, but my shipping date changed twice and support were useless at giving me any kind of honest update as to when it would be dispatched. Call me old fashioned but if you order something that says "Delivers in X days" that's when I expect to get it.It didn't help that my existing phone was broken (a OnePlus One ironically) so I needed a replacement ASAP.
None of that changes the fact that I spent 7 elapsed days requesting a cancellation and refund, being told outright lies about it being escalated etc, only for them to defy my instructions and ship it (note: not deliver it, they didn't physically ship it until the 9th day after my request). Then they replied to my ticket to tell me that as it had been shipped there was nothing they could do. Any way you cut it that's very deliberately shady business practises.

All depends what you call light-moderate use. For me, today I listened to about three hours of podcasts, did a bit of surfing and made some phone calls, still have 71% left. Not quite sure what the people who are saying it has a crap battery are actually doing with it.Turquoise said:
Shipping issues aside, how is everyone finding the user exerience? Is the build quality up to scratch? Screen resolution not a problem? Any info will be useful.
I'm liking mine. The build quality as far as I can see and feel is excellent, a really nice looking and feeling device. If you put the screen next to a QHD screen you will notice that it isn't as good, but once you're looking at it on it's own it's fine I think. Colours are good and the definition is grand. I haven't tried any VR yet so can't comment on that. It's fast, and the camera is ok but not as good as my S6's. The fingerprint scanner is excellent, it has only occasionally failed to recognise my finger and that's when I'm very sloppy with placement. It's fast too. No obvious bugs yet, at least nothing that has impacted my use of it.
Battery is fine, but I'm currently on holiday and I'm using my phone more than I usually would so I don't really have an idea of average usage. I take it off charge at about 10am and it's only one died on me so far, around 1am after heavy use all day. I also have all the connectivity on all the time, no point in having a smartphone if you're not going to use all the smartness.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it. It does what I need it to with no obvious downsides yet. Miles better than the Oneplus Two and as good as the Oneplus One was when it came out. I am still rather suspicious of Oneplus though, so I'm hoping I have no problems and I would always check the forums when an OS update comes out to check for any major bugs.

Just general use throughout the day. Nothing too taxing but a fair bit of screen on time.I am certainly under 40% and curtailing use by the end of most days.
Just had an update this morning after overnight charge. 100% down to 85% in 30 min.

It looks like there is going to be a red one too, just to complicate things!
