One thing to be wary of which I've heard reported on the forums is the phone getting very hot when in your pocket. Apparently the proximity sensor doesn't disable the fingerprint scanner, which can lead to the phone constantly trying to scan (your pocket?) leading to high battery use and corresponding elevated temperatures.

Will bear that in mind, I have a flip case on it though so that may prevent it from trying. Unless it just tries to read the inside of the case!

Looks like Oneplus are trying very hard to get the phones out there after the initial delays, mine shipped today. I'll report on any problems in this thread.

Well, I said it had been shipped and that's what the email told me, but the tracking number tells me that really all they've done is printed the label, they haven't actually given the package to Royal Mail.

That's very cheeky.

Feel sorry for anyone having problems with Oneplus. I ordered my 3 on the website on the Tuesday launch, standard delivery and it arrived on the following Saturday. I've also bought three One's from them and all arrived quickly without issue.

I really like the phone as said previously, and think it is worth holding on for, even if their shipping is shoddy.

I ordered mine yesterday, no sign of it shipping yet. That said there's some people on the OP forum who ordered Monday & Tuesday and got theirs today so here's hoping.

There's also some people who ordered on launch day and still haven't had theirs dispatched

I ordered my yesterday and got the dispatch confirmation today. It is shipping to Germany so will have an EU plug, if that makes any difference on availability. Swapping from IOS to Android, wish me luck.

I ordered mine last Friday and it's at the distribution centre now. I don't know how people who ordered on Monday/Tuesday got theirs before me, odd.

Ah well, they had actually delayed my shipping date from Thursday (yesterday) to Monday, then actually 'shipped' it on Wednesday (three days ago tomorrow) which was a nice surprise. I hope it's delivered today, don't hold out much hope though.

Although it's not quite as simple as that... The different flavours of Android and the different offerings from handset manufacturers mean that the experience is quite different depending on which manufacturer you choose, possibly even more so from OnePlusOne to OnePlusTwo (and therefore OnePlus3 and X by implication) due to the OS change.

I went with a Nexus 5X but have gone back to HTC. HTC works well for me, especially the mail client and being able to chuck APKs on there (as I develop some very small time Apps) via bluetooth, this wasn't possible on the 5X.

I also prefer the swipe keyboard provided by HTC, but each to their own!!

Have they actually shipped it I wonder? Mine said shipped, then it said it had been received by the distribution centre and now it's come up as 'Sales Order Raised' so clearly there's been some issue that Oneplus needs to sort out.

I'm guessing it must as I ordered mine on Wednesday and it still hasn't shipped. Either that or Oneplus logistics are still st and ship out in random order.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and still haven't even had the tracking info email yet. It was supposed to be delivered today according to the website.
Was told it was shipped yesterday but it appears that was a load of crap Not a happy bunny!
