I know that I can use a Bluetooth keyboard with my iPad but what about a mouse... it seems that it's a no go but I can't believe they'd miss a trick like that. I'd get a lot more done with a mouse.

Anyone know of a way?

Citrix do one for when you're using their Receiver software to connect into a Windows session.

Nothing else, iOS isn't set up for using one.

I think they do an attachment called a Macbook.

As far as I know, there is no cursor capability native to iOS.

It isn't a WIMP centric design.

iirc even the iPad Pro doesn't do it. Native to Android and Windows, iOS has never had it built in.

Thanks all. Shame frown iPad runs for many many hours on one charge and productivity wise, it would've been great to be able to use a mouse. No worries

Or an Android or Windows tablet.

Actually, the latter makes considerably more sense ....

I have a MacBook but the battery lasts nowhere near what on iPad does and I like my iPad for productivity; will look at other tablets but think I'll make do as is.

What do you mean by "productivity"?

I've moved back from iPad to a new MacBook, which has a similar battery life because I wanted a proper operating system and a mouse.

If you still want a tablet with a mouse, as suggested above Windows is your best bet.
