I find the over-ear one annoying, not only are they useless if you nod off like I do, I also find in cramped cabins they are annoying as they bump into the wall etc.

I have the QC20's and they have been fantastic. Fantastic battery life and the noise cancelling is excellent.

See now i found the noise cancelling on the QC20 rubbish in anything other than a plane. Trains and particularly the underground was useless. Then when the cable snapped down by the battery pack Bose didnt want to know. The 30s that replaced them are just awkward with that neck band

Same- QC20s are superb for me on trains and planes. With music, they drown out screaming kids on trains, and I can sleep with them in on a plane. I find overear headphones too cumbersome to sleep wearing as they really restrict the position of your head.
