EE
£35 a month
2GB data
Unlimited calls and texts
iPhone 6

Have about just under 2 months left on a 24 month contract before I can early upgrade. Will be switching to a sim only plan, likely remaining with EE because their wifi calling feature has been a god send in my low signal area, where other networks are also marginal but have no equivalent fall back.

Coincidentally I just changed my sim only contract with o2 this morning.

It's now £20 a month, unlimited calls and texts and 20gb data.

These are getting cheaper and cheaper now.

20gb is effectively unlimited for me; I'll never even have to slightly worry about going over the limit.

Yep, I just took out the EE complete tariff at;
50gb 4g internet (the faster than me on my wedding night badum tishh)
unlimited minutes
unlimited txs...
Iphone 6s plus 128gb..
Plus the option to upgrade 12 months instead of 24.

Now the iphone 6s plus 128gb is like £800 or there abouts and seeing as the iphone 7 is out this year, which they allow to you to upgrade at this time next year... i think it is worth it.. especially seeing as the phone was free.
That said I do have THREE's sim only with the
all you can eat data inc tethering (how i miss ayce tethering frown)
600 minutes
and ayce texts. I am keeping my NOTE 3 so its only £25 a month..
I've just had a quick look and the plan for your iPhone 6s plus is £79.99 per month..! You say you got the phone free but it lists a one-off £9.99 on top of that too. I know that you can upgrade at month 12 (no way it will be <£80) and I highly doubt that the latest and greatest will be without a one off charge also. By month 12 you'd have already paid (12 x 79.99) £959.88.

You don't mention you other plan costs also..

I guess you must just be more well off than me or just that I'm extremely tight because I'm already sweating just thinking about handing over that kind of money just for a phone (and plan). Hope it doesn't sound like I'm having a go at you because I'm not.. it's just that I don't understand it!
Haha I'm not sure if I'm more well off.. or a fool..
When I rang EE for the upgrade they did initially try charging me £30 for the iphone but I said I'd ring back after thinking about it.. the following day they tried an £80 charge to which I explained yesterday was £30 and at £74.99 a month are you feeling ok? I then got passed to another advisor who apologised and because I've been a loyal customer for the past 4 years with 2 contracts they'l give me the iphone free and free delivery for Monday, unless I wanted next day delivery, which was £9.98, which I paid and received the phone today.
My three was £45 a month on the one plan with a note 3.. it finished in May of this year so I changed it to sim only £25 over 12 months and keeping my note 3.
EE did say next year upgrades are free and we will see on price of iphone 7.. but there is also the new samsung due.. and I can always sell the 6s plus if I needed to raise a little cash. 6s is my wife's phone by the way..
HTH smile

ZTE Blade S6 bought for £160. £5/month to BT for 200 minutes of calls, unlimited texts & 500Mb data. If I am at home calls and data are via my wi-fi . So total cost for 2 years is £280, even if I then throw away the phone.

BT SIM only £20 per month unlimited calls/texts and 20GB 4G data. i was on the £10 tariff with 500 mins/2GB data but found i was using up the 4G too quickly.

Just got a new Oneplus 3 arrived today, but previous was a Oneplus 1.

I will concede that it has been a slightly unusual month - new phone so updates and apps downloading, but I regularly exceed 10gb.

£12.99 a month, 500 mins, 5K texts, 250mb data (i have never exceeded that). Was a 24 month contract on an HTC Desire 500 - my first mobile phone - though now it's just rolling on. Must move to a SIM-only deal now as I resent continuing paying for the hardware. Can't believe what some of you pay for mobile phones...

I've switched to the 20GB/£20 O2 contract as well.

I'm just waiting for my contract to switch over so i can use it! Hopefully it will be soon. I look forward to not having to think about data usage.

They seem to popup every so often from each of the providers. Vodafone had a similar contract a month or two ago.

T-Mobile (yes they still exist), 250 mins, 500 texts, 500 MB for... 30 pence per month.

It has gradually increased over the last few years, as originally it was 2 pence per month and yes they did collect the direct debit for 2p.

Three Sim Only

Don't think the deal is available now but my price is locked in unless they completely discontinue the package.
