Can anyone access www.metronet.co.uk on Firefox?

It's the one site I need to get to to sort out a problem and it's the only website FF won't find... 'server not found'...

Important information - closure notice of Metronet from the 11th January 2016

As you may know, Metronet was bought by Plusnet back in 2005. Over the last ten years you've benefited from our award winning customer service and now we also want to make sure you're getting the best value for money and access to our latest products and packages. That's why we've made the decision to close Metronet and give you, our valued customers, an easy no hassle option to transfer your service to Plusnet.

Plusnet is a broadband provider with a range of products like unlimited broadband, super-fast fibre, phone and YouView TV from Plusnet. See our list of awards at www.plus.net/awards.
What happens next?

Please call us on 0800 432 0080 to talk through what's on offer, discuss options to retain your Metronet email address or start your move to Plusnet today.
We strongly recommend you contact us as soon as possible, as from the 11th January 2016 you will no longer be able to use your Metronet service.

That would explain it - but I was using Plusnet's live chat today; they said there was a problem at their end and I needed to reset my password, and that the only way I could do it was via the Metronet site/portal... they sent me exact links and neither would load...

Unlikely the subdomain will 'work' for you if the main domain doesn't, but here's the link to their password reset form just in case (I'm on FF 47.0 BTW and the whole site seems to be up from here - sounds more like you have an ISP issue, which I'm sure doesn't sound very helpful right now!)

Thanks - but I still get 'Server not found'. I'm on FF47 too and the ISP is Plusnet...

What if you change your DNS server on your computer to 8.8.8.8 through your IPv4 network properties in control panel.

That's a bit out of my comfort zone... what will that do and do I have an IPv4 network? I have 'network connections' with Local Area Connection. (XP Pro) .I don't want to risk breaking the other 99.99% of the internet!
