I will attempt to describe my problem but bear with me:-

The data for our day to day operations program is on a Synology drive and all the PC's in the office have it as a "N" drive that is mapped to Diskstation\Diskstation\Shared.

All of these were setup on PC's that were Windows 7 and I did it no problem. The PC's were then upgraded to Windows 10 and took the settings with them working fine.

Now trying to setup a PC that has been reset and reloaded to windows 10 and although I can map the drive to the Diskstation and see all the files ok it will not let me map to the actual folder containing the data which is a sub-folder?
There appears no way to edit the path? I've asked for tech support from Synology buy no reply as yet.

Any advice please?

Tried using the command line?

net use n: \\diskstation\diskstation\shared /permanent

That should do it
