Just a quickie.

I want to buy Office Home and Student 16 edition. The "for life" version, not the 365 one.

Google search shows many places that sell it and of course there is a price variation. But I've never heard of "Mr High tech" or "uktech store" so being wary, I'm wondering if I'm better off just buying it from PCWorld for £120.

Or is there a better retailer out there? For example eBuyer I've heard of, but never purchased from

Cheers

You can find working licenses for sale for £20 or less, however these are generally resold test or learning keys (eg Microsoft DreamSpark) which should not be sold and are not technically valid. It's extremely unlikely that Microsoft would ever deactivate the keys, however if you're purchasing for a business I would seriously recommend against it.

Nope, been that way forever.

Made more amusing by the fact that all your receive is a box with a code in it.

Before you buy, check if your employers are on the Microsoft Home Use programme, if they are you can get the latest version of office for about a tenner.

It's £119.95 in John Lewis - and probably a better source than PC World !

Its a key-code in a small cardboard box, I don't think then PC World can mess that up. :lol
