ffs the proof is not in the numbers. The numbers are the result. You are arguing for a particular cause, not the result. A cause which I believe to be bks.
so you think they are manufacturing these at the same speed they are selling day by day then?Edited by Efbe on Friday 23 September 17:53

Yeah, it uses their taptic engine. I mean, if you think about what you're feeling you know you're not actually pushing the button down, but I was impressed by how positive it is and how 'clicky' it is, for want of a better word. Feels better than the feedback you get from the Macbooks.
Ta, just got mine today, very impressed. Previous 6s was my first iPhone after three Android handsets. It was pinched in the summer, and I went back to an HTC One M8 until the insurance settled up. I liked the HTC before I'd had the iPhone. Couldn't wait to get back to it and only held off so I could get a 7. I mention the MacBook because I thought it had some kind of touchpad lock - the feedback stops when you power it off. bit of googling and I discovered there's no actual switchgear in there.
My iPhone 7 decided that it had enough and refused to turn on this morning. I've got a replacement iPhone 7 from the Birmingham store. None available to walk in and buy, but you can reserve a phone in store and collect it right away!
The problem is, I don't have a backup of the phone, and what I thought was a backup on my iTunes account was for my mum's phone, so I have just lost 60GB of family photos, holidays etc. Gutted is an understatement. Everyone should back up their phone's right now if you can! It's my fault too, not checking the backups, sadly this morning I couldn't have backed my phone up anyway since it was dead.
Credit to the staff in the Birmingham store though, they did all they could for me. I only found out about the backup issue when I came home, sadly repairing the phone was not an option nor is getting the hard drive/storage chip out of it

Where did you get the photos to put on the phone? I'm assuming that you haven't taken 60gb with of photos since the phone came out?
This is a good point, surely you had an iCloud or iTunes backup when you moved from your previous phone to your 7? Even if you haven't backed up since then you shouls only be losing a weeks worth of stuff. I had a play with my mates 7 last night. Compared to my 6 there's just not enough difference to warrant me upgrading. It looks/feels identical. Yes I'm sure the processor is faster, but I don't play games or anything which demands immense processing power etc.
The one MAJOR difference was the speed of the unlock. I don't like what IOS10 has done to the 6 unlock process and wondered why they've changed it.......now I know, they've done it for the new phone. The 7 is instant, god knows how they've done it, but it is fantastic.
Not enough difference to make me upgrade from my 6......I'm waiting for next year.....and hoping they've done wireless charging by then!

The photos were all moved from my previous 6 to the 7. I back up to my Mac and not to the iCloud. The backup's available were not the one's from my iPhone 6 and copies of my parent's phones, i must have deleted it after I setup the 7.
It is my fault too for not checking, just a shame a brand new phone has a hardware fault within 7 days of ownership.
I'm thankful for being a social media person as I've got alot on my Instagram and Facebook atleast.

My missus was due to upgrade to a 7S from a 5S, but has decided to go Android as has never really liked the whole Apple experience.
So we looked at all the options, cant get the Galaxy Note as its a fire risk, she was a bit meh for the others at 600 quid so I suggested looking at the Chinese Android stuff, we ordered her a Oneplus 3 yesterday, looks really pretty good, spec wise it is up there with the big hitters, just lacks the QHD screen but dont think she will notice that, nobody else really does, was £329, if its any good, thats a big saving over the big brand opposition.

How was this physically done? From a backup from the Mac and then you deleted the backup?? If so, time machine is the only option I'd say of getting it back.
No time machine for me sadly, I had been thinking about getting one, this backs up one of the reasons of purchasing one but i must admit I lost hope in Apple for a day.I backed the iPhone 6 to my mac, then set the new 7 up from that restore. I must have deleted the backup afterwards, should have known better considering I work in IT myself lol. Though its Service Management and not technical.
I have thoroughly learnt my lesson the hard way though
