There's thoughts that some of those could be for future products, but wireless headphones, charging case, touch home button and OLED bar for the rMBP all look pretty certain. Raise to wake would be a nice little feature too.
Would that mean just wake up the phone as you lift it off the desk?
Yeah as you lift up it comes alive.

I don't want to sound like an idiot here but... really? They registered a term for that now?
I haven't used an iPhone as a daily since my 4S but I struggle to imagine this hasn't been introduced in the past 4 years?

Its on ios10 mainly because the touch sensor is so quick on the 6s (which it is, and can be annoying) that when you press the home button with the phone locked to look at notifications, it unlocks the phone in a split second with your fingerprint without you being able to see anything.

The touch sensor is now astoundingly quick its mental. And it has caused this problem.

Oh ok, now I get it smile. I thought that when lifting the phone (not pressing anything), the notifications would show, which iirc most phones have done in the past years.

One of my phones did it by waving your hand over the screen when face up. Might have looked stupid but I miss it now as it looks even more stupid as you do it and nothing happens biggrin.

yup, most modern Motorola's have IR sensors that are always on, swipe your hand over it, up pop your notifications

The biggest head scratcher on the headphone decision is that the devices already need better battery life. Now you have an additional peripheral needing battery too. Seems daft.

Or, the peripheral can now have a built-in amp and battery, so your phone battery lasts longer and there's no longer a requirement to have the jack space or jack amp on the phone PCB.
They'll still have amps for the speakers, of which there are now two (so you can have stereo).

It's not all that daft, just different. It means that if you want to power the headphones off the phone you need an adapter, sure. That adapter will be optional, so how much functionality have you really lost?

Seems like a pretty eh update. Will get one and see what it's like but the leaks have hardly been impressive.

Hopefully the camera sits flush and that mag blue colour is real. Probably not on either though since the camera flushness would affect case design and a lot of the leaks from third party manufacturers showed the dummy with an even worse bump than the 6S. Poor form.

Pie in the sky ideal would have been full front screen but currently beyond tech from what I have read. Same size as before.

Interested to see what happens with the home button.

My 6 has been faultless in the last 2 years. I skipped the 6s as its no different in appearance. But ill get the 7, i'm sure it will be an impressive phone.

Ill also get good money 2nd hand for my 6 ( which helps)

Not impossible iirc, but what are you going to do with the speakers/mic/sensors/ff camera/...
And design. Apple could easily chop some mm off but wants to retain the round home button, rounded edges and symmetric top and bottom to keep the "company face".

Lol well played Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/b/?ie=UTF8&node=1519683...

From the cases the following is obvious:

- Headphone jack gone
- Dual lens camera (on Plus)
- Roughly same form factor, maybe even the same, as 6.
- iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus
- New (satin?) black colour
