Worthy upgrade from 6+?
i'm not sure it's even a worthy upgrade from the 6though it was standard on most cards etc these days

After deliberating for weeks (and previously leaving the Apple Store when they had a 7 Black in stock) I finally picked a 7 up yesterday.
Coming for a 6 it's difficult to justify the upgrade as apart from the color change it feels very similar. My 6 was getting a bit 'tired' after years of use and the 7 is certainly a bit snappier. I can't help wonder how Apple got away with making so few changes from the 6 / 6S.
Although I do have a shiny new toy so it's not all bad.

The irony is strong in this one.Although I do have a shiny new toy so it's not all bad.
That said, what do you want them to change?

Plus, it is always in landscape mode!I've been mucking about whilst waiting here at Vienna to fly home and you can alter the bokeh if you focus on different parts of the subject
Still amazing how it does it in real time outlining instantly and pretty accurately
I'm not knocking the tech and am aware this is very much an early version of the software used to produce these images, but a lot of these portrait mode photos are looking a bit odd to me.
Under ideal conditions (as in Apple's collateral) it's obviously capable of some very good results, but in real life, without some care to the intended effect, framing and background, the effect seems to vary from "hmm, almost" to "bloody awful".

Erm, a new distinctive design would be a bonus.

that portrait mode, whilst clever technology, seems to consistently produce st results. However you could definitely argue that it's not FOR photography people; it's for snapchat instagram fktards who think F-stop is a type of tampon. To them, it probably looks amazing.
I tried to be a bit more diplomatic

Puts it's perfectly, exactly what I was thinking!
