My search for the perfect iPhone 7 case continues. I had a Cygnett Urban Shield, but it wasn't as god as the iPhone 5 or 6 models, eventually breaking. I replaced it with a Spigen case, which I liked, until I woke up the day after fitting it to discover that my phone won't charge on the docking station in that case.

I bought the Apple battery case - really pleased with it.Thank you to everyone who gav me advice on here regarding 7 vs 7plus. I'm sorry I didn't reply to you all individually.
I went to the Apple Store at the weekend and ended up coming away with the 7 plus in jet black. Ultimately I wanted to try the bigger phone for the bigger bettery and because I think it will be better for getting work done on the move.
At first I was regretting my decision, thinking it was too big. But after a couple of days use I'm really happy with it. I can type one handed if needs be and I can type very quickly two handed. I like using the landscape mode. The screen is bright and vibrant. Battery life if the biggest advantage for me, normally I was charging my 6 at lunch time to see me through to evening and then it would be dead before bed. Yesterday the 7 plus didn't see a charger at all and I went to bed with 40% battery left. Probably used it more than I use my 6 too as I was playing with new shiny phone.
I haven't got a case on it yet because it feels so nice without one, I did buy a silicon case at the Apple Store which offers great protection but does add bulk, so time will tell it I use that or not.
That's my update anyhow, thanks again for all advice received. .

My iPhone 7 wouldn't charge after 3 months and died. They didn't replace it straight away as usual, they gave me a temporary Iphone 6 for 2 weeks until they investigated whether I damaged the phone or not. The imbecile even peered into the charging port to see if water got into it. 'Why bother, it's supposed to be a waterproof phone' I asked him, to which he replied 'yes but you could have taken it below 1m' and how are you supposed to know whether I did or not by looking at the port?
The iPhone 6 they gave me only had 12g storage available so I couldn't restore from backup, so 2 weeks of data lost. Whatever.
They gave me a new phone.
Just letting you know it's not as easy these days to get a replacement as it used to be, and make sure your phone is always backed up in case you encounter the same issue. Is this a known problem?

Probably no use now unless you are already running beta but....

Just saw this on a simple site called Airpods2gether which is a community board where people can list where they have lost/found an airpod. Seems a US heavy site however.
Am upgrading to 10.3 now but Im assuming it won't work if I didn't have findmyairpods installed and running before I lost the left airpod. Also Im sure it only works if the airpod had charge left and I lost it on Friday ( i think).

The inevitable happened and I have somehow lost an airpod! Bugger. There goes the best part of £60 I think. I do use them every single day for work calls, and jogging/sports. Absolutely love them!
Agree, they're pretty bloody good as I hoped they would be.Haven't seen anyone else wearing any yet.
