I like the face tagging.

Noticed that down the bottom of a Person page you can click 'Confirm additional photos' presumably to improve the facial recognition algorithm

I quite iOS 10 apart from the fact that something I used every few minutes (delete messages from notification screen) has gone away (for iPhone 6 and below) and PPTP VPN was just removed so I can't get access to my home server and I guess will have to use Open VPN.

I was hoping that would be linked up to the tagging feature in Apple Photos on the Mac, but it doesn't seem to be. Maybe they will work together better when macOS is updated.

I'm finding it quite pleasant to use, although a bit of an anti climax at the moment.

Perhaps I'm missing something about it......

Music looks as if it will be easier to navigate and the widgets look to be a helpful feature, but nothing else stands out.

I don't like the grey notification bubbles.

I updated. Is the lock screen and the notifications thing the only bits which have changed? I cant work out if thats it?

Seems like not even slightly a big deal.

Apparently PPTP is going from macOS Sierra too.

I've just noticed that since updating to iOS 10, pressing the space bar after inserting some punctuation, leaves the keyboard on the punctuation/numbers page, rather than returning to the standard keyboard view, as per previous versions of iOS.

This feature is very clever. Just got home and parked up, seems iOS 10 now detects the car Bluetooth disconnecting then saves that location as where the car is parked!

Yes. But what puzzles me is that I have the same 5500 or so photos on both my iPhone 5S and my iPad Pro; after I upgraded to iOS 10 the photo scanning thing ran on both devices, but has come up with different results, in terms of what's been recognised and what hasn't / who it thinks they are? One, you would think that the two devices would be running the same algorithm so on the same photo set would come up with the same matches; but two, why have both devices scanned and processed individually? That is not very "iCloud", you would think Apple would have had it sync the photo recognition data between devices like it does with the photostream?

Sorry, but some people really need to try another phone once in a while.

Apple have been doing stuff like this for the last six years, no point complaining about it now!

Am I missing something, in emails the up and down scroll arrows have gone?
So when looking at emails if I delete it goes to the next, but if I don't I have to go back
To the list and pick the next email?

Agreed but it's the "wow, look how clever this new functionality is, this is going to make faxes obsolete soon" comments that get me.
It's like Volkswagen inventing the self parking car last year tongue out.

For someone who hates Apple so much, you seem to post a lot in Apple related threads.
