It's pretty easy to replace the battery. I've done it on mine to tide me over until I get a new phone.

I see oneplus have followed the nexus school of business.
Started selling good spec phones at cheap price meaning an alternative to the annual rip off merchants then once they got a smidge of brand awareness, Just blend into one of them.
I agree with the sentiment, but Nexus phones didn't start off cheap. It was only really the Nexus 4 and 5, which came somewhere in the middle of the Nexus line of phones, that were significantly cheaper than their competitors. A chunk of the increase in UK price is Fx.Started selling good spec phones at cheap price meaning an alternative to the annual rip off merchants then once they got a smidge of brand awareness, Just blend into one of them.
I was looking at getting the Oneplus 3 as I was due an upgrade, then the 3T was announced, so I spoke to o2 the first day it appeared on their site and got it ordered.
It arrived yesterday and seems good.I got the 128gb version as it was about £2 a month more than the 64gb version and I sometimes use my phone as a hard drive. I also have a fair bit of memory taken up with Spotify and my Sony Action cam exports videos to my phone.
The fingerprint recognition is quick and easy once set up (that took a little while to register a few fingerprints). I need to have a play with the camera, but so far it's a bit awkward. My old Sony Z3 had a brilliant camera, but this one seems a lot more sensitive to blurring. When I've managed to take a shot of something that isn't moving, it comes out okay.
That was taken in fairly low light, so could definitely be worse.
The battery seems good, transferring stuff from my old phone and updating Android etc took about 25% of the battery yesterday, but today I have played about 15 minutes of games, about half an hour of Facebook and browsing, 15 minutes of Spotify, plus a few updates and messing about with it when the other guys here wanted to have a look at my new phone and the battery is on 89% after taking it off charge at 7am. The fast charge thing does work, it was charging at about 1% a minute (or perhaps a little quicker) with the wall charger.
The screen is clear and I reckon it is a bit better than the Z3 screen. I've seen a few reviews that have complained that the screen is a bit basic, but I think it's fine.
It's quick, I had about 9 different apps open yesterday when I was setting it up, and it was running like there was just one app open.
It looks nice and seems well made, but I think I'm too used to having a case on a phone and it feels a bit thin in my hand. In fairness, my Z3 did without the case.
So far, I'd definitely recommend it. I really liked my old Sony, but this is a different league (other than possibly the camera, perhaps I need an app).
Hope that helps if you are thinking of getting one.

I've got a 3. Great phone, word of warning however.
They are not evenly remotely waterproof, I killed the motherboard on mine from sweat damage with it being in a pouch on my arm whilst out running. I know that was obviously my fault but it's not a problem I've had with any other phone.
Their customer services are also woeful, the repair costs are high as it gets sent back to Europe.
Won't be buying another phone from them when this one gives in, although I'm hoping that's a few years away.

I really want one of these, so annoyed about the shipping delays and people on eBay selling them for twice the price.
I think this is the first time in a good 5 years that I've been excited about the launch of a phone, so probably forgot about all the above.
There look to be a few on ebay for around 550 but I see a couple are trying for 750 FFS!I think this is the first time in a good 5 years that I've been excited about the launch of a phone, so probably forgot about all the above.
Mine has been shipped today so looking forward to having a play in a few days.
I bought a sim-free version direct for my daughter's Xmas present. She is going to Uni in the Netherlands next year so can't have a UK Contract.
It looks so good, I ordered another since I like the dual-sim function and will put my work sim in and my Portugal personal use sim in leaving my iPhone 7 for UK personal. Both arrive this week.
