Well, you learn something new every day, cheers.
To whoever I was originally replying, sorry for being somewhat misleading; I'd never even heard of an international non-VAT purchase.
Hmmm... it seems I may have to talk to my accountant as it looks like there is VAT payable. It's not clear to me whether the invoice from OnePlus includes VAT or not now. Certainly the invoice from OnePlus was not a VAT invoice. To whoever I was originally replying, sorry for being somewhat misleading; I'd never even heard of an international non-VAT purchase.

So now I'm confused.

It's taxed at source under the local equivalent, there is nothing additional to pay, but the equivalent of VAT is claimable by you as acquisition tax, so 1/6th of the final cost is claimable.https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vat-imports-acquisitio...

Normally when I buy a company asset from a non-EU company where there is no VAT invoice, I put it through the accounts as a non-VAT purchase and don't try to claim any VAT back. So this has now thrown me into a little bit of confusion, so I'll talk to my accountant tomorrow and clarify what I should be be doing. If anything pertinent to this thread comes from the conversation, I'll report back here in case that helps anyone else.

I've got no idea, I know next to nothing about VAT. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/vat-imports-acquisitio...

This thread from the OP forum might help you. It's not about the OP3T specifically, but is about how OP handle VAT within the EU.

Anyone else had the (reported by many) issue where you make calls and you can’t hear anything through the earpiece and the the other party hears nothing? Requires sometimes multiple reboots or Power Offs to resolve, but the issue always returns within a day or two, or less!
Very frustrating!
