Hi, would this work?

I have a Sky subscription, so can use Sky Go on a couple of devices. Could I nominate a Mac Mini and plug that into a another TV. And therefore watch Sky stuff on a different TV?

Just not sure how block or not this sort of stuff!

Our kids have it on their games consoles, and watch it on their TV through those so I don't see why not.

I use an HDMI cable to link my Macbook to TV which works fine with SkyGo. However, you can't watch Sky using Airplay to Apple TV. I would particularly like to link my iPad to TV but haven't found a satisfactory way to do it. Will be interested if anyone has found a solution.

Hi, yes you can, from a Mac, though not from an iPhone or iPad.

I have managed to AirPlay from my Mac to both my Apple TVs, not sure why others have suggested it doesn't work?

Hi

I use Sky Go on my old mac mini (Late 2009) to watch F1

Up to the end of last season it was 'ok' odd dropped frame now and again but not too bad

I've just come to do the same again this year and it looks like they have updated things and it is now terrible/unwatchable with glitches every few seconds and the sound is about 0.5secs out of step with the picture the whole time

They say the min spec is a 1.8 Core Duo and mini is 2.26 with 3gb ram connected to a LG HD TV via HDMI

Is any one using Sky Go on this sort of setup or even a much newer mac mini connected to a hd tv ? does it perform this badly for you ? or is it fine ?

Looking for any experiences good or bad to try and find out if it is just me ?

Thanks

I've bought one but not unpacked it yet.
I'll give it a go this weekend.
