Any one else having problems uploading and publishing picture through photobucket. Takes me ages to get the img code needed. I think it is the excessive advert content of the picture host site. if I switch to flicker how do you get the code needed once you have uploaded the picture and marked it public.

I gave up on photobucket a while ago for the same reasons and turned to Flickr.

If you want the address of an individual pic, right click on that pic in the album and select 'save link address', then paste it where you want it.

If you want the address of an album, when viewing that album click the up/right arrow in the header (when hovering over it, it shows share album). The displayed window shows the link address for the album highlighted. Again copy and paste where you want the link address.

I hope this answers your queries, Perry.

Cheers
Mike

It sounds like you're right clicking on the pic in the 'photostream' area. You need to create an album and copy the pic to it. Then in that album, you'll see the share symbol which is a curved up arrow. So then either click this arrow or right click the photo in the album. Sounds complicated but it's not really, honest!

edited to add: Aha just clicked on your link and you've pasted the link address for the album. If you want just one pic, then right click on the pic in the album and select 'copy link location'. Pasting that address should work. (Famous last words!)

On Flickr each image has a share button on the bottom right. You have to view the image first. Then click 'BBCode' and you'll see a prearranged link including description to copy and paste onto here. Albums I'm not sure of as I don't use them.

I've never been able to find the bb code using the flickr app. Only shows when going to the website

no thats not it , although if you click on that link it opens the picture up in the album. So what i need to do now is to find a way that this link just opens as a picture not a link.

ok I cant find any bb link or any share link to cut and paste. I have moved the picture to an album, double clicked on image but still can't find a way. When I click on the arrow sweeping up on the bottom right it comes up with a box to share with facebook, twitter etc and underneath that row is a text box that has the text in blue which is what I have copied and pasted so far. any thoughts
