Any feedback thoughts on this 488 ?

Particularly seats, red dash parts and no mention of axle lift

Thanks

Seats look better than some Daytona seats of the past but the base and side bolsters look very small/flat and personally I would want the racing sports seats for a tighter fit. I'm sure they are more comfortable for the portly gentlemen.
Also not a fan of the old two tone roof

The lower portion on the dash would normally match the seats and the relevant portion of the door cards, like this ...

Seems odd for someone to want the lower dash in red but none of the rest of the interior.

I think I might actually be agreeing with Rambo here (worse than the Ghostbusters crossing the streams of their thingummies) but I wouldn't entertain any modern Ferrari that didn't have carbon seats.

I think the red lower dash helps break up the dark interior a bit - I like it!

Have to say though that this image got My OCD twitching!:

No no no no no! - The "Ferrari" should be on the left, and the "488 GTB" should be on the right!

The car's a "Ferrari 488 GTB" not a "488 GTB Ferrari"!

(I wonder how many thousands of pounds Ferrari would charge to have them put in the right order? confused )

Like the red on the dash if it was continued onto the door cards and seats. In isolation it looks a little strange

Here you go:

Also +1 on carbon race seats. I think they are the same or very similar to the 458 ones, which says a lot about how good they are.

No carbon seats, big no no, black roof is hideous, on a 458 it looks so bad that all the cheap ones seem to have them, fancy a chav Ferrari for cheap money, no problem, lots out there with a black roof!!

For the seats alone that's a better choice for me.

Yeah there is a deal to be done on that car for sure but is it worth more than a 650s spider ?

Go in with your size 10 boots on but still think the McLaren knocks it out the park for value for money and exclusivity

FFS give it a rest.
The market dictates the value, you are on the Ferrari V8 forum you know.

The rate 650S are going you will be able to buy Two for the price of this 488.

Let me guess in 12 months the 650S will be worth £300K blah blah blah

And ? Someone ask for your thoughts and its a free country not exclusively for Ferrari owners of which I am one anyway.
If you think the prancing horse is worth the premium that's your prerogative. But where some lead others follow like sheep

maybe Ferrari haven't got it all their own way anymore and whilst they don't like it, its got to better for us car buyers. They have had it too easy for too long and McLaren is shaking up the supercar world and obviously ruffling a few feathers. Fair play to them and makes you proud to be British.

He asked for opinions on a specific 488.

Not if a 650S was better. Not if a 650S was better value for money .Everyone in Pistonheads forum land knows your opinion.

Going now before you accuse me of being a troll.

Why add "like sheep" - just gratuitously offensive.
