Hello
I purchased an 2008 Aston Martin DB9 that was not running.
I have no ignition whatsoever. I put in a new battery, when I push the key in, no lights light up on the dashboard, however central door locking works and that about it. Also steering lock is on and cannot get that to release. Any advice.

Have you tried the Battery Connect Switch under the seat base where the battery is?

This disables a lot of things including the glove box release which probably means you can't access the user manual. Although you should get some dash messages and lights.

Thank you for your reply.
I do not see a battery cut off switch. I do see that the positive lead from the battery has power, however it does go into a junction box which has 2 positive cables coming out of it and there is no power there.

Can you see a yellow button? If so press it. It is visible in the slot of the aluminium cover. Of course later cars may have it somewhere else mine is a 2004.

Do you have your manual, it is on page 12.24 in mine.

Cars with the ECU don't have one.
