My phone died last week (Galaxy S3 that I've had for 4.5yrs) so I'll shortly be taking delivery of a shiny new S7 edge. It's going to be good.

However, I don't want to get it smashed so those that have this phone, what case do you have? There are millions to choose from and it would be good to hear about ones that have been known to work well.

Would prefer not to have a flip case BTW.

I've got a couple of spigen cases from Amazon. Do the job and look ok. Well priced.

I have a Griffin Reveal (mine's clear - the smoked one may be a better bet if available):

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Griffin-Reveal-Case-Samsu...

And use what I think is a Zagg HD for the screen:

https://www.zagg.com/uk/en_uk/invisibleshield/sams...

Both have an almost rubbery feel to them which I really like, and which help grip the bugger. The screen protector was the easiest I have ever installed with no bubbles.

It's a real shame to have to put anything on them as the naked phone is as good as any out there aesthetically. But sadly the realities of life make it essential.

I always buy loads of cases when I get a phone and the S7 Edge was no exception.

The best case I had which I always went back to was this Spigen
Spigen Slim Armor Gunmetal Air Cushioned Corners with Dual Layer Protective Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01AUR1362/ref=cm_sw_r...

It added a little thickness but it felt protected and was very comfy and secure to hold. It also had a little kickstand built in.

Do Spigen/Amazon do that for the iPhone 6?

My son had one these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00Z7RJT7G/ref... dropped the phone and the screen still broke even though that Otterbox has a raised surround. I would be wary of any case that doesn't cover the screen with the Edge if you are prone to dropping the phone.

He now has one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BMC06R6/ref... Not going to be 100% full proof but better than not covering the screen.

My daughter; who destroys phones, has one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01BD02PGW/ref=mp... so far so good and what is good about it is, it isn't to big and bulky but still protects the phone.

My S7 Edge just has a basic hard plastic back cover but I'm generally very good about looking after my phone so it works for me, however get one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01IY1JUIO/ref=mp... bit of a pfaff to put on and make sure you follow the instructions but it's a superb screen protector.

I'd highly recommend a Spigen, I have one for my S7Edge and I've dropped, kicked and smashed it for the last year and the phone is perfect still.

I have the one with the rubber edge and a plastic surround. It looks great too, bizarrely (in my opinion) I've had people in the office asking who makes the cover too and they've gone out and bought one.
