Control 2 pc's with one keyboard and mouse: http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/ Just uses IP; amazing bit of software if you run Development/Production boxes and want to avoid a KVM switch or multiple keyboards.

Ripitforme www.softpedia.com/progDownload/RipItMe-Download-44816.html#download_locations If you already use dvdshrink and dvddecrypter this tool is fantastic. It has not failed yet to allow me to backup anything i own. It uses Decrypter to take out all the nasty VOB files, can rip movie only if you wish etc. One click operation. Then automatically fires up shrink to compress the files.

Everybody gets so hung up on GIMP as a free alternative to photoshop, but GIMP has never been that user friendly. If you want a good Image Manipulation App on Windows you can;t go wrong with paint.net www.getpaint.net/index2.html Needs .net framework 2.0 but that's no biggie. Hope his helps someone.

Haven't been through so apps if repost - www.tucows.comwww.download.comand a nice little ip scanner - angry ip scanner from http://www.angryziber.com/ipscan/although Norton says it's a problem - never had problems enter in ip addresses and will scan your PC to see which addresses are used by etc modem. Possibly others as good, found this one simple. Also another site --usefull for drivers - www.driverguide.net --free registration needed.
