Anyone else use them?

If so could you let me know if you're having any probs at all today - cheers!

(the support line's engaged so I assume they're being inundated with calls and hence the problem is at their end)

smiler.

As above, the hosting seems fine but the email service has been down for a while.

IMAP email was knackered earlier. Thunderbird kept asking for my (saved) password.

Any interactive part of their site seemed to be down as well. All seems to be fine now.

ETA @ 2210 - no it still seems knackered and I've had no mail through.

I've received stuff intermittantly, but I'm pretty sure some email has gone astray as I have clients swearing they have emailed me and I haven't received their emails. Fortunately a client phoned to say "don't action that email I sent you this morning"; chance would have been a fine thing!

Yep. They're cheap so I don't expect the availability to be rock-solid, but it's been down or at least flaky since Monday afternoon, which I think is pushing the bounds of being an acceptable service.

Cheap should not mean Poor Service....

Cheap does tend to equal less bells and whistles!

I placed Register1 to be one of the cheapest around for what it offers, but also ensure it offers excellent service..

I've spoken to them and they reckon normal service should be resumed in 3-6 hours. Apparently they've finished installing the hardware and are now upping the CPU power. Like I care - just give me my email I said.
