Radius Server with API's for adding/removing accounts?
Discussion
This might be a no-brainer, but I'm still at the homework stage and have never had to get my hands dirty with Radius.
We're looking at putting in a wireless system for customers to access the Internet, something like an Aruba/Colubris most likely.
We'd like to tie the issuing of usernames/passwords with the generating of visitor badges, which all visitors to our premises need.
Does anyone know how feasible this is? I'm presuming most Radius servers must allow batch/scripted adding/removing of accounts as ISPs and places much bigger than us will want to automate that sort of thing (but may have the budget to pay much more for it!).
TIA

You could tie the RADIUS server to a database, I think FreeRADIUS supports LDAP too as well as loads of other methods so it's quite flexible. Have a look on http://wiki.freeradius.org/ .
