Can't play DVD on laptop......

Just trying to watch Sopranos season 2 disc one on my laptop and it just won't work.

Have tried 4 different media players now and each and every time the 'program will now quit' box turns up. Tried restarting and that made not difference.

Any ideas, DVD drive perhaps? First time it's ever happened.

What happens if you try a different DVD? If other DVD's work that might help narrow the problem down a bit.

Tried a couple of others and the same story

Still reads games and stuff, so not the drive. Hopefully re-installing the DVD software will sort it.
