As I said, send it to tell Apple and tell your tale. Its quite clear from your posts on here and macrumours you are lying or at least not telling the whole truth, but I suppose if I am being at my most kind I would admit that perhaps you are just severely misunderstand.

But completely separate from that, do you honestly, hand on heart, think that nobody in the history of consumer electronics has attempted to send back a product that quite clearly has suffered impact damage in the hope of getting a new one?

Go right ahead, send it back, but don't be so naive to think that nobody has ever tried what you are trying.

You also seem to be a member of a forum called Hackintosh?

http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/member.php?u=32381

I'm sure you joined to ask how to 'hack' your way into the packaging?

well that nasty packaging was just a jail for the poor phone, it NEEDED to be broken free of it, so expert advice is obviously called for wink

We'll just dig more dirt.

We know he is 27, of Pakistani origin located in Worksop and has videos of 9/11 and the London bombings on his YouTube site.

Have we uncovered a terrorist sympathiser as well as a fraudster?

Joking apart, there are plenty of mac fans that would use words like that. Perhaps me included!

I have heard some toy collectors refer to the toys are being in 'plastic prisons'. Always thought that had a poetic ring to it.

Thesheephair,

I am an AppleCare supervisor and, despite what all these clowns on this board are saying, I actually have seen a verified case of this before. If you'd like, you can email me your AppleCare case number, and I will put a note on the file that will get your repair expedited for you.
