How can I tell if I have a dual core or not?

PC is a 3.0Ghz Intel (R) according to my System settings, and it has Viiv stickers on the box?

Any way to tell?

Assuming you a have a new machine running Vista:

Right-click 'Computer'
Click 'Properties'

What does it say alongside 'Processor?'

Easy way,
Open Task Manager and click on the Performance tab.

If you have two sections on CPU usage, you pc is using two threads of processors.

Which could be a single core hyperthreading rather than two real cores.
